Welcome to Mike's Open Journal, host of MOJO Blog & Podcast, MOJO Photography and the Mental Health Blog Awards.
I started to write about my experiences with mental health illness because I was in a particularly bad place with my mental health and needed a healthy outlet. At that time I could not see a way out of the darkness or how I could continue.
Writing/ blogging and subsequently podcasting, provided me with an opportunity to express my thoughts and feelings. Something I have always struggled with. Though as a dyslexic male that may not be a surprise.
If you have a story, project or event you would like to share please do contact me.
MOJO Podcast focuses on mental health, illness, wellness, stigma and support.
Most episodes focus on the shared stories of people with lived experience of mental health illnesses or a passion of mental health conversations, awareness and education.
Mike and his guests discuss a range of topics including: health, relationships, education, exercise, local events and product reviews.
MOJO Blog includes Mike's personal stories and experiences. These will often be focused on mental health, with the added fun of local and occasionally national events, activities and campaigns Mike is involved with, visiting or invited too.
I am delighted to have had the opportunity to rock up and appear as a guest on other people's blogs, podcasts and campaigns.
Thank you to everyone who has invited me to be part of their blogs, channels and pages. Links and a brief intro to most of my guest posts (Im sure Ive missed some) can be found on my guest blogging page.
